Commercial Managers – Data Centres – Dublin

Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects.

Due to continued growth in the region of their Data Centre projects division, our client is now seeking two experienced Commercial Managers to join the team in their Head Offices in Dublin.

Responsibilities

•   Lead Commercial Governance for Data Centre Projects
Provide strategic commercial oversight across a portfolio of mission-critical data centre builds, ensuring cost control, contract compliance, and alignment with corporate financial objectives.
•   Manage Project Budgets, Forecasting & Cost Reporting
Oversee all head-office cost planning, monthly forecasting, value reporting, and financial analysis to support senior leadership decision-making across multiple large-scale data centre programmes.
•   Direct Contract Administration & Risk Management
Handle contract negotiations, manage change orders, assess entitlement, and mitigate commercial risks to protect margins and ensure robust contractual positions for all data centre projects.
•   Support Procurement Strategy & Supply Chain Performance
Work closely with procurement teams to develop buying strategies, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure competitive, compliant procurement of MEP, CSA, and specialist data centre packages.
•   Mentor Project Commercial Teams & Standardise Processes
Provide leadership to regional QS/Commercial teams, implement consistent commercial procedures, and drive continuous improvement across cost reporting, change control, and project controls functions.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level qualifications
Must have 7+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must be based within commutable distance of Dublin
